Tamko decking finds home at Fleet Farm
Building material company points to compatibility with growing retailer.
Minnesota-based retail chain Fleet Farm will distribute Tamko's Envision composite decking. Fleet Farm has nearly 40 locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and North Dakota, and recently broke ground on its first store in South Dakota.
“Fleet Farm is a great cultural fit for us as a business,” said Tamko's Executive Vice President Tim Whelan. “Fleet Farm started their business in 1955 – Tamko started in 1944. Fleet Farm’s core values are ‘Honesty, Integrity and Value’ – Tamko's are ‘Honesty, Integrity and Compliance.’ We already mirror and respect so much of Fleet Farm’s past, and we’re excited to see what we can achieve together in the future.”
Fleet Farm is distributing Tamko's Envision Inspiration capped composite decking in the colors Tangled Twine and Weathered Wicker, and EverGrain uncapped composite decking in the colors Cape Cod Grey and Weathered Wood.
Fleet Farm just opened its 38th and 39th locations in August, with new stores in Oconomowoc, Wisc., and Sioux City Iowa. The chain has been on a major expansion push since 2017, with plans to open three additional new locations by October 2018, and several locations in 2019.
Fleet Farm will hold a Grand Opening celebration for their newest location in Eau Claire, Wisconsin Sept. 8.
