Tamko adds to Envision composite lumber offering

Tamko is adding a solid-color board to its existing Envision line of capped decking boards, which previously only included variegated selections.

The decision was reached after Tamko talked to and collected feedback from more than 300 customers, including distributors, dealers and contractors.

"Consistent with Tamko's refocused emphasis on our composite lumber business, we listened to the voice of the customer," said senior director decking Brian Lowry. "The new product offering we're announcing today is part of our strong push to meet the needs of our composite lumber customers."

The solid-color boards will be called "Envision Expression," and the current variegated board will be renamed "Envision Distinction."

Envision Expression includes four solid colors including three hues of brown and gray. The new options will be available for orders beginning in November and shipping January 2, 2017.
