Home builder Tailor Made filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy last week.
The Brookfield, Wis.-based builder's Chapter 7 petition for bankruptcy listed assets of $2.8 million and debts of more than $3 million, including money owed to a number of subcontractors and suppliers. The builder's assets include four unsold homes.
According to the filing, Tailor Made owes debts to a number of local building materials dealers, including $149,104 to Oostburg Concrete Products and $ 36,402 to Stock Building Supply.
According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, the home builder was only five years old, and only a year ago, the builder was a featured in Milwaukee's Metropolitan Builders Association's Parade of Homes
