True Value’s Southwest Lumber recently sponsored a project to build the largest children’s playground in Yuma, Ariz. Owned by Dick Miner, the store donated various materials, including lumber, building supplies, screws, bolts and tarps, and the staff volunteered more than 200 hours of service to help complete the project.

George Ghanem recently opened his fourth Taylor Rental outlet, a True Value store in southern Florida. Three of Ghanem’s existing stores are located in Fort Myers, while the new store will be located in Naples and will focus exclusively on party rental, offering total event planning from caterers to lighting and sound.
