Stock makes new executive appointments
Stock Building Supply, the LBM industry’s second largest player, has beefed up its executive ranks with some new hires.
Michael Butts has joined the company as the new director of installed sales. Butts has served as VP and director of education for the Michigan Lumber & Building Materials Association, and became installed sales director for United Building Centers (now ProBuild) in Minnesota. He also developed a turnkey installed sales program for Do it Best Corp. Most recently, Butts has been president and founder of LBM Solutions Inc., a firm specializing in installed sales consulting and training for the building supply industry.
Stock has also hired Giana Noonan, the former director of marketing at ATC Panels, as its new director of marketing. Matthew Spain, a former M&A director with investment bank UBS, was appointed as Stock’s new director of business development. Spain will help Stock reevaluate Stock’s portfolio and "fill out missing product and service offerings in each of our markets as part of our acquisition strategy," company president and CEO Joe Appelmann told Home Channel News.
