SRS expands in four states
SRS Distribution has continued its national expansion with the opening of new locations in four states.
New greenfield locations include openings in Plymouth, Mich.; Salem, Ore.; Waterbury, Conn.; and Oceanside, N.Y. Each location will carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products and focus on servicing professional roofing contractors, remodelers, and local homebuilders, SRS said.
The opening of a new Willoughby Supply location in Plymouth marks the company’s fourth location in Michigan as SRS continues its expansion efforts across the state. The Salem location complements SRS’s existing RoofLine Supply bannered footprint along the I-5 corridor from metropolitan Portland to Eugene.
In Connecticut, Waterbury marks SRS’s four location in the state and the first expansion under the Metro Roofing Supplies banner. The Oceanside location, operating under the National Building & Roofing Supplies banner, extends the SRS geographic reach to western Long Island and enhances overall market coverage.
“We are excited to open four new locations in great markets with talented people who have a desire to be joint owners of the Company alongside hundreds of other employee-owners and our two financial partners,” said Dan Tinker, president and CEO of SRS Distribution. “We are proud of our growing greenfield program, which we attribute to attracting and developing the best talent, while allowing them the freedom to implement their own independent, local strategy backed by our capital and resources.”
Based in McKinney, Texas, SRS Distribution operates more than 225 locations across 42 states and is the third-largest U.S. roofing and complimentary building products distributor. SRS is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. and Berkshire Partners LLC.
