SRS Distribution opens four new locations
Roofing and building products distributor SRS Distribution announced that it has opened four new greenfield locations.
New branches include Dayton, Ohio; Fayetteville, N.C.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Sun Valley, Calif. Each location carries a full line of residential and commercial roofing products with a focus on servicing professional roofing contractors, remodelers, and local homebuilders.
The Willoughby Supply branch in Dayton is the Company’s first in the metro area and will connect its Columbus and Cincinnati locations. The Fayetteville branch, operating under the Superior Distribution banner, expands SRS’ presence in eastern North Carolina.
The new B&L Wholesale Supply branch in Pittsburgh is the third location in the area, and will support enhanced service to markets north of the city. The opening of a new RoofLine Supply branch in Sun Valley marks the Company’s sixth location in the Los Angeles metro area.
“Every greenfield location is the result of careful planning and deliberate execution by our dedicated team and I am incredibly proud of the people that have enabled SRS to continue its pace of opening branches in both new and existing markets throughout the country,” said Dan Tinker, president and CEO of SRS Distribution.
Based in McKinney, Texas, SRS operates more than 300 locations in 44 states under 33 local brands. SRS Distribution is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. and Berkshire Partners LLC.
Last week SRS announced it has acquired Shultz Roofing Company in St. Joseph, Mich. The move marked the third by SRS in the past two months. SRS acquired Travis Roofing Supply last month and Slover Roofing Supply in July.
