SRS Distribution acquires Presta Contractor Supply
One of the fastest growing companies in the industry – SRS Distribution – has expanded once again.
The McKinney, Texas based roofing and building products distributor announced that it has acquired Presta Contractor Supply. Presta is an independently-owned distributor of roofing products and accessories, windows, doors, siding, and other complementary products.
Headquartered in Erie, Pa., Presta was founded in 1984 by Louis Presta and currently employs a team of 14 people. Owner Tim Presta is remaining with the company and will continue to lead the business, ensuring stability and consistency for customers, employees, and suppliers.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed by SRS Distribution.
“We are proud to have the exceptionally hardworking and dedicated employees of Presta join the SRS family,” Dan Tinker, president and CEO of SRS Distribution, said in a statement. “Presta perfectly complements our existing B&L Wholesale Supply branch in Erie and together we will create the premier building products distribution company in the market.”

SRS operates more than 270 locations across 44 states and is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. and Berkshire Partners LLC.
This past April, SRS opened three new locations in Kansas City, Kan.; Levittown, Pa.; and Alexandria, Va. Also last month, SRS announced four new outlets were opened in Sudbury, Mass.; Fargo, N.D.; Belton, Texas; and Spokane, Wa.
Just over two months ago, new branches were opened in Delray Beach, Fla.; Medina, Minn.; and Austin, Texas
