SRS continues national expansion
SRS Distribution is continuing its rapid expansion across the country.
The McKinney, Texas-based roofing and building products distributor has opened 3 new greenfield locations in Tempe, Ariz.; Traverse City, Mich.; and Newport News, Virginia. Since the start of 2018, SRS has opened 12 new locations.
Each location will carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products and focus on servicing professional roofing contractors, remodeling contractors, and local homebuilders, the company said.
The opening of a new RoofLine Supply location in Tempe expands SRS’s footprint and geographic reach in the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area. The Traverse City location marks its second location in Western Michigan under the Willoughby Supply banner following a new branch in Grand Rapids that opened in February 2018.
The Newport News Superior Distribution location complements the opening of a new branch in Norfolk in Spring 2017 and is a relocation of an existing branch in Chesapeake that expands the SRS footprint in the Tidewater region of Virginia.

SRS operates 220 locations in 42 states under 23 distinct brands and is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. (LFP) and Berkshire Partners LLC. LGP acquired a majority share of SRS last month.
Last month the company also announced expansion in Florida, Washington, and Virginia.
