Smarthome introduces Wink hub

Irvine, California-based Smarthome has added the Wink hub, a platform that makes it possible to control a variety of devices from the same integrated control center, to its suite of connected home products.

By allowing devices to speak the same language, Wink hub enables users to monitor and control activity in their home using a single interface.

Wink features built-in encryption, and the network requires no monthly fees or contracts.

The Wink hub is compatible with Z-Wave, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Lutron ClearConnect; the app is available via the Apple iTunes and Google Play app stores.
