Slide show: Products take center stage at NHS

Las Vegas -- The National Hardware Show celebrated new inventions, new product launches, made-in-USA products and just about any other kind of home improvement product under the wide roof of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The show, which ran May 5-7, also celebrated its 70th anniversary.

One of the popular activities on the show floor was the search for new products. One example: Dave Umber of Umber's Do it Best Hardware in Fort Wayne, Indiana. "Our goal at this Show is to find a new niche," he said.
