Simpson Manufacturing releases sustainability report
The inaugural report provides updates on Simpson’s recycling, energy, and charity programs.
Simpson Manufacturing, the structural connectors and building solutions provider, has released its inaugural sustainability, environmental and social responsibility report.
According to the Simpson President and CEO Karen Colonias, the Pleasanton, Calif.-based company “is doing what’s right for our people, customers, communities and environment.”
"Since our founding in 1956, we have established deep-rooted core values that continue to define our business today," she said. Simpson Manufacturing is the parent company of Simpson Strong-Tie products.
Through the report, Simpson said that it is communicating its sustainability, environmental and social responsibility efforts over the years to showcase why the company is an attractive investment beyond just the numbers.
Included in the report are updates on the company’s recycling efforts, driver safety, use of energy, and charitable giving, among other programs.
