Sherwin-Williams appoints Owens Corning CEO to its board
The Sherwin-Williams Company has appointed Michael Thaman to its Board of Directors, as well as to the Compensation and Management Development Committee of the Board.
Thaman is currently Chairman, President and CEO of Owens Corning, of which he has been on the Board of Directors since 2002.

"Mike has demonstrated strong leadership for 25 years at Owens Corning, and his broad financial and international experience will serve the Board and our shareholders well. Thaman has held a variety of senior leadership positions over the course of his career with Owens Corning. He has served as President and CEO since 2007 and Chairman since 2002. Previously, he served as CFO from 2000 to 2007, President of Exterior Systems from 1999 to 2000 and President of Engineered Pipe Solutions from 1997 to 1998.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Kohler Company, and he previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of NextEra Energy, Inc.
