Sears continues to expand online social presence
Sears Holdings has expanded its online community presence with an online resource for homeowners called “Manage My Home.” The interactive Web site offers free access to all the necessary tools and resources a homeowner needs to keep a home running smoothly, inside and out -- whether they decide to do it themselves or get a little help along the way.
The site, which uses Twitter to send project information to subscribers, includes a blog, "Unlock My Home," which brings together a collection of homeowners with tips and suggestions. It also offers a team of home experts available for answers to home-related repair questions.
"Getting your home projects done smart is what makes ‘Manage My Home’ different. We enlist many experienced people to be your helpers to do just that," said Jim Hilt, chief home manager, Manage My Home and divisional VP Sears Holdings.
