School principal arrested for shoplifting
A public high school principal has been accused of stealing light bulbs, drywall screws and mold spray from a Brooklyn Home Depot.
According to a report from WABC-TV, Santiago Mayol, the principal at the High School for Language and Diplomacy in Manhattan, was arrested earlier this month for shoplifting. Mayol reportedly makes $140,000 a year.
Mayol’s lawyer told WABC that his client paid for everything, and he's accusing Home Depot of pushing for a wrongful arrest.
