REPORT: 84 Lumber returns to Brooksville
After exiting Brooksville, Fla. about a decade ago, 84 Lumber is returning to the community.
The pro dealer has pumped new life into its former location and will open the yard this month, according to a report by the Tampa Bay Times.
84 Lumber’s Brooksville store originally opened in the early 2000s but was shuttered when the Great Recession hit and the housing market crashed.
Following some remodeling and upgrades, the 35,000-square-foot store and accompanying yard is being full restocked.
Brooksville is the county seat of Hernando County. Prior to the reopening, the nearest 84 Lumber locations were well south of Brooksville in Ruskin and Plant City, Fla.
