The 2106 presidential election is still 16 months away. But this just in: Readers of HBSDealer are divided over who they would support -- if they had big money to throw behind a candidate.

Following last week’s news that Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone is backing and supporting Chris Christie, HBSDealer asked: “If your pockets were as deep as Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone's, which presidential candidate would you back?”

Surprisingly, political novice and controversial-lightning-rod Donald Trump stands tied with Bush family scion Jeb Bush, as of this posting. Also high on the early -- and extremely unofficial -- ranking of candidates are Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Christie.
