Readers Respond: Holiday to-do list
The holiday sales figures are piling up. One of the most noteworthy: a record $9.4 billion spent online on Cyber Monday – the first Monday after Thanksgiving. That’s up 19.7% from last year, according to the analysts at Adobe Analytics.
So what are readers doing differently this holiday season? An unscientific pool which generated 67 votes revealed no clear action point. The plurality of votes were cast for “nothing new” (37%).
That’s not to say these readers are doing nothing – they may be repeating aggressive actions from a year ago.
Other leading activities included: “More digital marketing” (19%); “Investing in technology (15%).
“More hiring” and “Bigger holiday party” each received 6% of the votes.
