The minimum wage debate is back on the media’s front burner -- both here, and here, and other places.

Driving the story is the effort of California lawmakers to push for the increase by 2020. New York’s governor has also supported a hike of the minimum wage to $15.

Today’s federal minimum wage stands at $7.25 an hour.
