HBSDealer.com asked readers to weigh in on conditions in their local markets, and the results are too close to call.

Specifically, we asked: “In your local market, how would you describe the home and housing economy?”

More than 100 readers took part in the poll. The responses were:

36% -- Strong: Riding the wave of pent-up demand and a housing market recovery.

33% -- Fair: The best to be hoped for is slow growth.

31% -- Weak: Rising interest rates and election-year uncertainty don’t help.
