Quick-Connect Wrench Wheel from Feeney
The lightweight tools is designed for builders and contractors installing Quick-Connect Tensioner fittings.
Feeney, Inc., the manufacturer of stainless steel and aluminum railing systems, has introduced the Quick-Connect Wrench Wheel: a compact, lightweight tool designed to make it easier for builders, contractors and installers to tension Feeney’s Quick-Connect Tensioner fittings.
Manufactured from lightweight and durable 6061 aluminum alloy for long-lasting performance, the Quick-Connect Wrench Wheel allows for continuous full rotation without requiring repositioning of wrenches – making it a faster and easier alternative to the two-wrench tensioning method.
The tool utilizes a specially designed spring ball retainer that securely grips onto the wrench flats of the Quick-Connect Tensioner fittings for ease of maneuvering.
“We are always looking for ways to simplify the installation of our products and save installers time on the jobsite,” said Andy Penny, vp of marketing and advertising, Feeney, Inc. “As our tagline states, ‘Feeney makes it easy’, and our new Wrench Wheel is just another example of how we are delivering on that brand promise.”
To use the tool, the user simply slides the Wrench Wheel onto the wrench flats of a Quick-Connect Tensioner fitting and then rotates the Wrench Wheel by hand to adjust cable tension, while holding the opposite end of the fitting in a fixed position with an open-end wrench.
Based in Oakland, Calif., Feeney residential and commercial construction products include CableRail stainless steel cable assemblies, Quick-Connect auto-locking cable fittings, DesignRail aluminum railing systems with optional LED lighting, Sta-Lok stainless steel rods, and the Trellis Collection of garden trellises.
