Professional Builders Supply acquires H2H
Raleigh, N.C.-based Professional Builders Supply acquired the assets of H2H Commercial, a Sumter, S.C.-based dealer focused on multifamily and commercial contractors.
H2H provides turnkey services that include interior doors and trim, closet shelving, mirrors, bath hardware and commercial door frames. Most recent annualized revenues approximate $30 million.
“We are excited to welcome the H2H team to our PBS family, said PBS CEO Van Isley. “Our first priority in acquiring another company is to ensure that the cultures align and that is clearly the case with H2H where there is a relentless focus on providing an unequalled level of customer service and taking great care of their people.”
Financial terms of the deal were not released.
PBS operates facilities in five metropolitan markets within the Carolinas. The company currently employs approximately 370 associates and annual revenues exceed $300 million.
With the acquisition, Scott Hollowell, H2H President, will report directly to John Merritt, the President of PBS’ Multifamily Division, which will be rebranded as PBS Commercial as part of the integration.
Isley further commented: “Gifford Shaw and Calvin Hall have built a great business and we are proud that they consider us worthy of entrusting the future of it to us. Scott Hollowell and the entire H2H team are exceptional at what they do and we think they will thrive with the additional resources and opportunities that PBS can bring to bear.”
