Poll results: Rolling back tariffs
In the most recent HBSDealer poll question we asked for your take on the Trump Administration’s announcement of a Phase One Deal with China that effectively rolls back some tariffs and prevents the implementation of others.
The poll question asked, “What are your thoughts on the latest tariff roll backs?”
And nearly 70% of those who took the poll said taking a step back from the tariff disputes with China are a move in the right direction.
After roughly 200 votes, 38% of readers said the move is “an all-around positive development” while 29% said, “roll backs are welcomed, but more are needed.”
About 25% of readers said “more tariffs are needed to protect U.S. industry.”
Just 8% said the move “has no real impact” on their business.
