Poll Results: Health care split
The latest HBSDealer poll question asked: “How likely is your company to adjust its employee health care plan next year?”
There was no clear leader among responses:
• 39%: Not likely;
• 38%: Very likely;
• 23%: Somewhat likely.
The survey was launched as the Society for Human Resources Management’s annual benefits survey hit the wires. In it, SHRM revealed that employer-sponsored health care rans as a major concern for both employees and employers.
The SHRM survey found that 85% of organizations prefer Preferred Provider Organization insurance plans. Meanwhile, though, interest in high deductible health plans linked with health saving accounts is rising.
The survey also found that 59% of organizations offer an HDHP plan option that’s linked with a savings/spending account while 19% offer an HDHP option that’s not linked with an account.
