Poll Question: Bernie’s idea for health care

2/24/2020
Rising health care costs have been a consistent pain point for business owners. Check out the results of this poll here, where these costs ranked above “excessive regulations,” “housing affordability,” and “digital disruption” in terms of impact on business.

The emerging Democratic Party presidential candidate front runner Bernie Sanders is promoting a Medicare for All plan. Here’s how it’s described: a single-payer, national health insurance program to provide everyone in America with comprehensive health care coverage, free at the point of service.

And here’s what he says. “All Americans are entitled to go to the doctor when they're sick and not go bankrupt after staying in the hospital.”

There’s no shortage of arguments against Medicare for All, for instance, here and here.

[Note to readers: This is not a political endorsement, this is a poll question.]
