Perma-Boot boosts distribution
Manning Building Products announced that Guardian Building Products will help streamline distribution of Manning’s Perma-Boot product throughout the United States.
The Perma-Boot roof protection product will now be available at the following Guardian branches: Sioux City, Iowa; Kansas City, Kansas; Joplin, Missouri; San Antonio, Texas; Memphis, Tennessee; Mobile, Alabama; Cordele and Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte, North Carolina; Cincinnati, Ohio; Cleveland, Ohio; and Belcamp, Maryland. Direct from manufacturer drop shipments are also available from GBP.
“We are pleased to expand our roofing category with the addition of Perma-Boot and, more importantly, make this exciting product more readily available to our customers,” says Brad Hawkins, GBP vendor and program manager.
While shingles are designed for a 20-year life, the roofing system is dependent on a small pipe boot at each roof penetration to keep out rain and weather. According to Manning, traditional pipe boots offer no warranty and could become a failure point in the first years after installation – causing water infiltration. This is common problem and causes unnecessary loss and destruction every day in the United States, says the company.
Manning points to its “Perma-Boot” system as a cost-effective and dependable repair solution that installs in minutes with no need to remove shingles or the failing boot and will last the life of the shingle.
“We are excited to be working with Guardian Building Products,” says Keith Manning, Perma-Boot owner. “They will be a big help in distributing our product to more locations, something we couldn’t do alone, and helping create more awareness of Perma-Boot.”
