AZEK Shingle Siding with PaintPro technology offers beauty without constant maintenance.
Building materials distributor Palmer-Donavin has announced plans to stock AZEK Shingle Siding with PaintPro technology.
According to the Columbus, Ohio-based distributor, low-maintenance siding products are key for homeowners and builders, and the AZEK product delivers the beauty of cedar siding without the constant maintenance of traditional shingle options.
AZEK Single Siding offerings include a straight edge.
“AZEK Shingle Siding features the texture of cedar shingles and has performance benefits of rot-proof PVC building materials,” Joe Ochoa, president of AZEK Building Products, explained. “Leveraging our innovative new PaintPro Technology, AZEK Shingle Siding offers a rapid dry time, superior paint adhesion, and a painted finish that lasts without needing touch-ups or frequent maintenance.”
The shingle comes in two styles, straight and staggered, which are both easily adaptable to complement a home’s exterior, from corners to gables. The product is designed with cut keyways of varying widths and a vertical woodgrain pattern to provide a natural wood shingle aesthetic.
Installers will not need special tools to install the lightweight and durable material, according to AZEK. There is no need to seal cut edges and scrapes for water protection, and the material can be cut without splitting. Additionally, with its uniform finish, there are no surface irregularities to work around.
