Palmer-Donavin adds Royal’s Celect Cellular siding

The addition of the composite siding product is a valuable inventory addition in the Midwest.
Palmer-Donavin is adding Celect Cellular Composite Siding by Royal Building Products as a premium option in its exterior siding lineup.

With the increase in demand for exterior products that withstand the elements and require little to no maintenance, adding the composite siding to inventory is valuable for dealers in the Midwest, according to Palmer-Donavin.

“Celect Siding combines wood aesthetics with near-zero maintenance,” said Steve Booz, vice president of marketing at Royal Building Products. “It is engineered from durable, low-maintenance cellular composite material and has patented interlocking joints designed to keep moisture out, ensuring the boards stay straight and true year after year.”

The stock items include Celect Clapboard 7”, Celect Shake 7”, Celect Board & Batten and many accessories, in a number of colors offered by Royal Building Products. The manufacturer said that the product insulates 70% better than wood and is backed by a limited lifetime 25-year Color Protection Warranty.

“As we see the future of siding, there are a lot of growth opportunities when it comes to composite siding,” said Josh Thompson, vice president of marketing at Palmer-Donavin. “Royal has been a strong partner with Exterior Portfolio Vinyl Siding, and we look forward to growing our relationship by adding Celect Siding, which has been a successful product in the market for many years.”

Scott Szwejbka, vice president, Royal Building Products, added, “We’re pleased to have the partnership with Palmer-Donavin’s team. It is important to have a reliable distributor, like Palmer-Donavin, who delivers more than just our product.”

Based in Columbus, Ohio, Palmer-Donavin distributes building products and fabricates doors.

Royal Building Products, a division of Westlake Chemical company, manufactures and distributes materials for the home remodeling, building and construction markets. The company maintains operations throughout Canada and the United States.
