OZCO and MiTek join forces

MiTek completed a North American sales and distribution agreement with OZCO Building Products.  OZCO is best known for originating the Ornamental Wood Ties hardware category, offering structural connectors for use in decks, pergolas, benches, fences, and more.

As part of the deal, OZCO and its products will have access to MiTek’s North American sales force, and will be available through MiTek’s footprint of retail and pro-dealer customers. OZCO products will now have access to the broad range of US & Canadian dealer locations that work closely with MiTek, while also tapping into the ever-growing MiTek customer base that has been converting to MiTek’s award-winning software, connectors, fasteners, and adhesives, the company said.

“MiTek is committed to innovation leadership across multiple categories, and OZCO will perfectly complement our MiTek Builder Products offerings,” said Tom Mort, senior VP of its Builder Products division. “Moreover, OZCO has achieved a very high standard for its retail displays and product training.”

According to the release announcing the partnership, OZCO is also known for high standards in retail displays, product installation training, and product knowledge.
