NVR names a new president, homebuilding operations
Homebuilding company NVR, Inc. has hired Jeffrey Martchek as its new president of homebuilding operations.
Effective Jan. 1, 2016, Martchek will assume responsibility for all homebuilding operations across the company, reporting to president and CEO Paul Saville.
Martchek originally joined Ryan Homes, a trade name of NVR, in 1988. He moved through a few managerial roles, including division manager in Cleveland, market manager, regional manager and senior regional manager in Northeast Ohio. He served as VP operations for Ryan Homes in Ohio from May 2007 until October 2008, and as area president with operational responsibility for the Mid East Operations from October 2008 until January 2011. He assumed operational responsibility for the Maryland and Virginia Operations in February 2011 and for NVHomes effective Jan. 1, 2015.
NVR, Inc. operates in two business segments: homebuilding and mortgage banking. The homebuilding unit sells and builds homes under the Ryan Homes, NVHomes, Fox Ridge Homes and Heartland Homes trade names, and operates in 28 metropolitan areas in 14 states and Washington, D.C.
