NLBMDA urges Congress for more COVID-19 loan funding
The NLBMD is pushing Congress to pass additional COVID-19 legislation that would provide funding for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL).
Here is the NLBMDA’s statement on the need for more loan funding:
Today, NLBMDA sent a letter to Capitol Hill urging lawmakers to quickly pass additional funding for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). NLBMDA has set up a grassroots action alert, accessible by clicking here, for members to contact their elected officials to echo this message.
Funds for these loan programs are quickly depleting and lawmakers need to immediately pass additional funding to ensure that businesses, including LBM dealers, have access to these funds as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
Members are continued to be encouraged to access the NLBMDA COVID-19 Action Resource Center for the most recent information and guidance.
Members may also contact NLBMDA Director of Government Affairs Kevin McKenney at [email protected] with any questions or comments.
NLBMDA members can contact their Representative or Senator here.
