NLBMDA holding Town Hall event
The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) said it will hold a town hall event later this month.
The May 29 forum will allow NLBMDA leadership to update members on a number of issues include Phase 4 relief legislation.
Here’s what the NBLMDA had to say about the town hall:
Over the past several weeks, NLBMDA has been successfully working tirelessly on behalf of the entire lumber and building materials industry to ensure federal lawmakers understand how vital it is to support residential and commercial construction, small businesses such as retail lumber dealers, and the U.S. economy as a whole.
As Congress continues their focus on Phase 4 relief legislation, NLBMDA already has a robust lobbying strategy underway. In addition, NLBMDA has several key wins, specifically with the Small Business Administration (SBA) on protecting dealers amid the pandemic.
This unique “ Members Only”industry town hall event will provide a forum for NLBMDA’s government relations team to brief you on the legislative and regulatory issues, provide the latest information regarding topics such as the SBA loan program, and address your questions submitted in advance. So register today and join us for a town hall discussion on Friday, May 29 at 2 p.m. ET.
The town hall discussion will also review how dealers can access federal resources and offer guidance on applications, federal agency resources a rend contacts, and other important information.
Lastly, all participants are highly encouraged to submit their questions in advance and you may do so when you complete your registration or email us at [email protected].
