New WORX 40 Volt Hydroshot
Portable cleaner has seven times the pressure of garden hose and nozzle.
WORX has launched the new 40V Power Share Hydroshot.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based manufacturer said this third generation portable cleaner is its most powerful version with a 290 to 450 psi rating.
The latest Hydroshot is part of the new WORX 20V Power Share Platform, which covers eight lawn and garden tools, each bundled with two, 20V MAX Power Share lithium batteries, dual-port charger, and a three-year limited warranty.
The power cleaner connects to any fresh water source through a standard garden hose or through its 20 foot accessory hose (included) that draws water from lakes, rivers, pools or buckets. An adjustable float on the hose acts like a bobber to keep the intake from touching bottom.
And unlike your typical pressure washer, you can bring it in the house to clean a bathtub or use it on the dock to rinse algae off a boat hull.
Based on an average of 60 psi for many homes, the 40V Hydroshot delivers more than seven times the water pressure than a garden hose/nozzle combination. At 450 max psi, the 40V Hydroshot makes quick work of power cleaning the car, truck, SUV, deck, patio or windows.
The pump-driven, dual-system control nozzle features two operating settings: watering (Lo) and power cleaning (Hi). At Lo speed, water pressure is 290 psi, while Hi speed is 450 psi, ideal for power cleaning. Rotate the four-pattern spray nozzle to adjust from 0º, 15º, 25º, and 40º settings.
WORX Hydroshot is powered by two, 20V MAX Power Share 2.0 Ah lithium batteries. These batteries have a built-in LED power gauge. By pressing the battery’s red keypad, the power gauge indicates how many bars are left before it needs recharging. Run time varies, based on the selected operating mode and speed.
Hydroshot includes a long pressure cleaning lance; two, 20V MAX Power Share 2.0 Ah lithium batteries; 60-minute dual-port charger (one hour per battery), 20-ft. hose accessory and carrying bag.
