New True Value store to open in Iowa
A new True Value store will open in Decorah, Iowa, in May, according to the Decorah Newspapers.
Decorah True Value will take up about 25,000 square feet of a former Wal-Mart building and will cater to the DIY consumer. The store is being opened by Scot Farver, who also owns Farver True Value in Newton, Iowa, a 29,000-square-foot store that employs 30 people. Farver True Value has been open for 16 years.
Decorah True Value will offer a mixture of traditional core hardware, outdoor power equipment, hand power tools, housewares, a paint line, an automotive section, key cutting stations and an outdoor center with Weber grills. The store will also include a Just Ask Rental department.
