New logo for Robinson
Buffalo, N.Y.-based home products company gets creative with its image.
Robinson Home Products, a 98-year-old company, unveiled a new corporate logo.
“At Robinson Home Products, we are extremely proud of our company’s heritage and history and wanted a look that honors our past, while at the same time, reflects our future,” said Ross Patterson, President. “As we are currently launching several new namesake brands, we felt it was the perfect time to introduce the new logo to our customers and to the industry.”
Founded in 1921, Robinson began as a manufacturer of knives, scissors, and razors. Twenty years later, the company expanded its offerings to include kitchen tools. Later, in the 1960s, after providing blades for the General Electric Company’s electric knives, Robinson soon was manufacturing blades for virtually every electric appliance company in the United States and Europe. In the following decades, Robinson added its own home brands as well as well-known brand name products to its lines. In order to meet the needs of its expanding business, in the 1990s, Robinson relocated to Buffalo, N.Y., where the employee-owned business is headquartered today.
Robinson has moved away from managing licensed brands and is launching its own tabletop brands such as Robinson, a premium flatware and dinnerware line, and Living by Robinson, a modern and stylish flatware line intended for more casual dining.
Robinson Home Products says its new corporate look reflects its enduring reputation for exceptional, heritage quality with contemporary innovation and style.
