New James Hardie distribution partnership in Michigan
James Hardie Building Products has reported that its fiber cement siding and trim business will be enhanced in Michigan through distribution agreements.
As of June 18, James Hardie customers in Michigan will be serviced by both Weekes Forest Products and Boise Cascade distribution centers. This includes a full range of siding, trim, and interior products, according to James Hardie.
In addition to its location in Grand Rapids, Mich., Weekes operates 7 other locations in Minnesota, North Dakota, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Florida.
The move also marks the end of a partnership. Effective July 30, Monsuma Marketing Corporation, the Grand Rapids-based building products distributor, will no longer distribute James Hardie products in the state. Monsuma had distributed James Hardie in Michigan for 12 years.
The portfolio of James Hardie products includes HardiePlank lap siding, HardiePanel vertical siding, HardieShingle siding, HardieSoffit panels, and HardieTrim boards. All products are available with ColorPlus Technology for a variety of design options through numerous colors and textures.
The James Hardie portfolio also includes HardieBacker cement board.
