New Home Building Supply names new exec

New Home Building Supply, a Greensboro, N.C.-based pro dealer, has hired Craig Ratchford as its VP sales and marketing.

Ratchford served as southeast regional sales manager for James Hardie Building Products for the last five years and was responsible for market development and sales activities in the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida and parts of the Mid-South. Prior to that, he worked at New Home Building Supply, Goldston’s Building Supply and Carolinas Builders Corporation in North Carolina.

Duane Dassow, president of New Home Building Supply, said the company has made many recent investments in equipment and process development to better serve customers. “Craig’s addition to the business will allow us to reap the full reward of those investments. We are glad to have him home,” he said.

New Home Building Supply is a 70-year-old building supply dealer that serves single-family home builders, remodelers and multi-family builders, with a full line offering of building products and millwork.
