New combo kits from Metabo HPT
Combo kits include an 18V Hammer Drill and 18V Impact Driver along with 36V/18V battery.
Metabo HPT has launched new 18V Brushless Hammer Drill & Impact Driver combo kits.
The kit offers brushless technology and combines an 18V Hammer Drill and an 18V Impact Driver along with a 36V/18V MultiVolt backwards compatible battery for up to 5.0Ah of run-time per charge and a lightweight Compact 3.0Ah battery for improved maneuverability.
Metabo HPT said that its brushless motor technology delivers more power to the motor by minimizing unnecessary energy loss through friction and heat. Managed by a micro-processor chip that efficiently delivers current flow to the motor, brushless tools experience longer run time between charges, increased power, and extended durability with essentially no maintenance.
The signature ergonomic design for the tool bodies makes them extremely well-balanced and comfortable for extended use. Covered by Metabo HPT’s Lifetime Lithium Ion tool warranty and 2-year Lithium Ion battery warranty, the Brushless tools stand out against other professional cordless products on the market today.
The tools can be powered by a MultiVolt 36V/18V backwards compatible battery for up to 5.0Ah of run time or by the second battery included in the kit that delivers a high-capacity 3.0Ah lithium Ion slim pack battery for fade-free power and less weight. The Hammer Drill and Impact Driver feature optical trigger switches that communicate with the micro-processors and deliver smoother motor acceleration.
Additionally, because current doesn’t flow through the triggers, they will last longer, further adding to the tools’ durability. The feel of the brushless tools in hand reflects Metabo HPT’s detailed attention to balance, grip, and pressure points; making these tools extremely comfortable to use. The metal belt hooks can be adjusted to the right or left side of the tools based on the user’s preference.
