New appointments at GE

General Electric has announced the appointment of three new executives who will join its global ranks of 190 company officers who lead large revenue-generating businesses, fill critical functional roles or help drive growth.

Roderick Christie, 47, has been named VP Eastern Europe regional sales at GE Energy Infrastructure. Previously, Christie managed global services operations across Europe for GE Energy and has worked for the company for 10 years.

Clarence Nunn, 44, is now president and CEO of GE Fleet Services, a business within GE Capital. A 17-year veteran of GE, Nunn held several leadership positions across GE Technology Infrastructure and GE Capital globally, including chief commercial officer at GE Capital's Commercial Distribution Finance business in Chicago. He also worked in sales, marketing, product development and quality within several GE businesses in the United States and Canada.

Gary Sheffer, 49, has been named VP communications and public affairs at GE Corporate. Sheffer oversees external and internal communications across GE globally and provides strategic communications and public affairs advice to GE executives on a full range of corporate reputation issues. Sheffer joined GE in 1999 after 17 years in journalism and government communications.
