In new ad, Glidden touts low-cost, high-quality paint
PPG's Glidden paint brand is celebrating its value proposition of high quality in a low-cost package.
The company's new ad campaign debunks the myth that expensive paint equals top results.
“We know the hustle and bustle of everyday life can get in the way of the goals you have for making your home look its best,” said Mark Lancia, senior brand manager. “The Glidden brand is all about providing an easy home décor process from start to finish so you can achieve that ‘Wow!’ look you want without the ‘Whoa!’ pricetag. Our new campaign is a testament to this.”
Lancia cited an independent test in which Glidden paint scored better than paints that sold for double the price.
“We believe the paint category has become overly complex, which can be both confusing and frustrating for consumers,” Lancia said. “We stand for being smart about painting your home. With the Glidden brand, you know you’ll get a quality can of paint that provides great results at a reasonable price, and we have the results to prove it.”
