Motorized blinds get green

Online window coverings retailer Blinds Chalet unveiled a motorized blinds product with the added benefit of environmental friendliness.

The company's motorized EcoGreen Window Shades offer EcoGreen fabrics that are free from PVC and that also contain no volatile organic compounds, according to the Phoenix-based company.

While Blinds Chalet has offered cordless blinds and motorized blinds for years, the new line marks the first of an environmentally friendly line of blinds with motorized lifts. "Our goal is to combine safety, environmental responsibility and style in one blind,” said Chris Stanley of Blinds Chalet. “The EcoGreen line delivers on all three of these.”
