Morgan named chair of NAHB Professional Women in Building Council
Carol Morgan, of mRELEVANCE in Atlanta, has been sworn in as the 2014 chair of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council during the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.
Morgan will manage the council’s business and represent the interests of the council members throughout the NAHB. The council's goals this year include building a broader base of leadership, integrating PWB into NAHB, increasing council membership, raising money for BUILD-PAC and increasing the number of PWB councils at the local level.
“PWB makes a difference in our industry and I am honored to be a part of the leadership of this group,” said Morgan. “I look forward to serving the members of this organization and am eager to work with these incredible women to address the issues impacting women in the industry, as well as to grow the organization nationwide and further expand our reach.”
Morgan has served in a number of positions for the PWB, including vice chair in 2013, Region B trustee in 2012 and 2013, and communications chair in 2010 and 2011. At the local level, she helped found the Atlanta PWB chapter, which is now the largest local council in the nation.
Morgan is the managing partner of Marketing Relevance, a marketing, communication and interactive agency with offices in Atlanta and Chicago. She is also the founder of atlantarealestateforum.com.
