NLBMDA presents Distinguished Service Award
CHICAGO - At last week’s Pro Dealer Industry Summit, the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) honor Frank Moore with its Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his service and contributions to the industry.
During its NLBMDA Installation and ProDealer of the Year Dinner event on Oct. 17, held in conjunction with the summit, NLBMDA Immediate Past Chair Rick Lierz and Jonathan Paine, NLBMDA president and CEO, presented Moore with the award. They also congratulated Moore for his recent announcement that he will be retiring at the end of the year.
Moore has served as NLBMDA Regulatory Counsel since 2008, when SmithBucklin began managing the association, and has worked as Government Relations Counsel for SmithBucklin since 1993.
“It has been an honor and privilege to work with Frank over the years," said Paine said. "Even though we are saddened to see Frank leave at the end of the year, we are excited for him and his family. We wish him the very best and congratulate him on a well-deserved retirement. Frank has left a permanent mark on NLBMDA and we are truly thankful for everything that he has done on behalf of the entire lumber and building material industry.”
