MoistureShield names new senior brand manager

MoistureShield, a division of Oldcastle APG and the manufacturer of composite decking and railing, has named Molly Werner as senior brand manager.

In her new role, Werner will focus on brand-building and consumer marketing for MoistureShield, the company said.

A Chicago native, Werner has acquired years of agency experience, establishing her brand-building skillset with consumer packaging goods while working with SC Johnson, Proctor & Gamble, and Coca-Cola. Most recently Werner worked with TracyLocke to launch global marketing campaigns for SC Johnson’s home cleaning brands.

“Molly brings a wealth of expertise to our organization as an experienced agency insider and marketer, where she focused on high-profile brands that are leaders in the home improvement industry,” said Richard Lankester, MoistureShield president. “As we focus on innovation while driving bottom-line results, Molly will help spread the word and lead our marketing efforts.”

Werner said she looks forward to helping lead the charge to expand the messaging around MoistureShield’s differentiating advantages in the industry.

“There are so many technology leaderships attributes—from the Solid Core technology to CoolDeck innovation—that can elevate MoistureShield beyond composite and wood decking products that have shown little change over the years,” Werner said.
