MoistureShield expands distribution in S.C. with BlueLinx
BlueLinx will distribute the full line of composite decking products to dealers in 25 counties.
MoistureShield decking has expanded its distribution in the Charleston, S.C. region through BlueLinx Corporation.
BlueLinx, based in Marietta, Ga., will distribute the full line of MoistureShield composite decking products to dealers in 25 counties through its Charleston Distribution facility.
Manufactured in the USA and made with 95% recycled content, MoistureShield decking features the “Solid Core Difference” for advanced strength and moisture resistance, ensuring it can be installed directly on the ground, in the ground or underwater.
“MoistureShield is excited to expand our footprint with BlueLinx through their Charleston branch,” said Matthew Bruce, vice president of sales at MoistureShield. “The coastal environment is a place where MoistureShield’s features and benefits excel, and we are looking forward to showcasing our Solid Core, CoolDeck and cap technologies there with BlueLinx’s support.”
The MoistureShield Vision product line features a variety of colors, all with DiamondDefense Coating. The decking brand says that DiamondDefense provides the strongest cap with industry-leading resistance to scratches, stains and impact damage.
MoistureShield also features CoolDeck Technology which reduces deck board surface temperatures by up to 35% compared to conventional capped wood composites.
The Atlanta, Ga.-based decking brand recently expanded its Elevate line with the addition of the new Riverbank and Alpine Gray colors. MoistureShield is a division of Oldcastle APG.
