Mike Crouch named president & COO at Acme Lift Co.

Acme Lift Co. has a new senior executive -- Mike Crouch, most recently Volvo Rents' VP business development, is assuming the role of president and COO.

Acme Lift Co. has a new senior executive -- Mike Crouch, most recently Volvo Rents' VP business development, is assuming the role of president and COO.

“I am really excited to have Mike come aboard and think he is a perfect fit for Acme Lift as we begin to build and grow our company into the future,” said Woody Weld, chairman and CEO of Acme Lift. “Mike has incredible depth of experience in every aspect of rental operation, plus his knowledge related to the growth of rental companies and the integration of mergers and acquisitions make him a very valuable asset which will help drive Acme Lift’s future plans.”

Crouch has more than 35 years of experience in the rental industry, beginning with Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. in 1978. He went from being sales coordinator to regional VP in two years, and in the ensuing years that followed, worked various operations and sales management jobs at US Rentals, MQ Power and HERC. He joined Volvo Rents Europe in 2002 as VP and returned to the U.S. in 2004 as VP operations for North America. In his most recent role there, he managed mergers and acquisitions during an expansive growth phase for the company.
