Michelle Desiderio to speak at this year's PDIS

HCN and the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association are beginning to warm up for the 2014 ProDealer Industry Summit, taking place Oct. 28-30 in San Diego, California.

Among the four keynote speakers locked down for the event is Michelle Desiderio, VP innovation services for Home Innovation Research Labs, a market research, consulting, product testing and accredited third-party certification agency that serves the home-building space.

Desiderio has racked up all kinds of environmental, land use and financial credentials working directly with builders, manufacturers, architects and remodelers, bringing the knowledge of Home Innovation Research Labs to bear on practical aspects of their businesses, with particular focus to solutions that balance environmental responsibility and housing affordability.

She also oversees the certification program based on the ANSI-approved ICC-700 National Green Building Standard, which certifies new and remodeled residential buildings, particularly in the high-performance housing market.
