Merit Distribution Group’s James Mumby departs

The Merit Distribution Group has announced that James Mumby, president of Dynamic Paint Products, will be leaving the company. Mumby purchased the company from his father Bert Mumby in 1994, and grew the company and brand.

“It has been a very difficult decision to leave the industry and the team of employees at Dynamic Paint Products Inc.,” Mumby said. “Our organization has been very fortunate to have a strong team of employees and key vendors that assisted in growing our organization to be a global player and a leader in the Canadian marketplace. Our employees have always been so dedicated to the customers we were privileged to serve over the past 41 years and I wish the management team at the Merit Distribution Group and the team of Dynamic employees continued success.”

The Merit Distribution Group provides wholesale distribution of paint sundry, hardware and drywall related products through its Lancaster, Merit Supply, Merit Trade Source and Merit Pro and Dynamic trade names.
