Fresh from its unveiling at the National Hardware Show’s New Product World, the GreenWorks 40V String Trimmer/edger claims gas power, without the hassle. It converts to a walk-behind edger and weighs in at 5.62 lbs.

• GETTING THROUGH THE ROUGH PATCH
