Menards plans new store for Green Bay area

According to an article in the Green Bay Gazette, Menards is planning a 162,340-sq.-ft. store for the village of Howard, near Green Bay, Wis. 

The project has already received the approval of the local planning commission. The store is slated for a 19-acre site near U.S. 41 on Woodman Drive.

The newspaper reported that when the Howard store and a store in De Pere, Wis., open, the retailer will close its older store in Ashwaubenon, Wis. No date has been set for opening of the project, which requires Village Board approval.
